I plan and fix websites for a living. I also write books.

I'm Ujjwal Ganesh. For 12+ years I've worked on SEO and websites. Most of it was inside two agencies in Noida, where I led a 70-person SEO team and later ran website projects from sitemap to launch.

I work remotely from Patna as a consultant with Adtric Solutions, and take on a small number of independent projects alongside. Outside work, I've written 25 books, from website conversion to stories for children.

How I got here

  1. 2012 to 2016

    Student, guest writer, blogger

    ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida

    B.Tech in Computer Science. My online work started alongside it: writing for friends' websites as a guest author, and running my own blog.

  2. 2016 to 2022

    Senior SEO Team Lead

    Seoczar IT Services, Noida

    I ran an SEO team of 70+ people across 100+ client websites. I trained 400+ new hires, from SEO basics to penalty recovery, and brought 12+ sites back after Google penalties.

  3. 2022 to now

    SEO and Website Project Manager

    Adtric Solutions, Noida, working remotely from Patna

    I plan and deliver websites end to end: sitemap, wireframes, specs, build, SEO and launch. The work spans banking, real estate, manufacturing, education and consumer brands, including a bank's move to a new domain under a regulator's deadline. The results on my service pages come from this work.

Why a website consultant writes books

Both jobs start with the same question: what does this reader need, and in what order?

A website that forgets its visitor gets no enquiries. A book that forgets its reader doesn't get finished. Each job keeps me honest about the other.

Outside work

I live in Patna, where I also went to school, at St. Joseph's High School. I'm a father to two daughters. Much of my own time goes into reading and writing, and a lot of it ends up as books.
